Woodland BIO Builds Support

After a busy summer running all over Pennsylvania to meet with entrepreneurship groups, investors, communities, and other regional projects, Woodland BIO has come home with substantial support from various Pennsylvania (PA) entities, underscoring the significant potential and impact of the project.

Woodland BIO Founder, Luca Pandolfi, at a Keystone Merge meet up in Harrisburg, PA.

The letters of support from PA State Senator Gene Yaw, PA House Representative Clint Owlett, and all three Tioga County Commissioners: Shane Nickerson, Marc Rice, and Sam Van Loon. This reflects a strong, bipartisan backing at multiple levels of government. This widespread support from elected officials highlights a unified commitment to advancing Woodland BIO’s innovative solutions. It demonstrates that Woodland BIO’s mission resonates with a broad audience, transcending political affiliations and emphasizing the shared goal of sustainable development and energy resilience.

The PA GreenGov Council, in their letter of support, highlighted the critical role that Woodland BIO gasoline could play in powering essential state functions. They emphasized that vehicles such as police cars and ambulances, which are challenging to electrify due to their demanding operational requirements, could greatly benefit from Woodland BIO’s sustainable gasoline. This endorsement underscores the practical and immediate applications of Woodland BIO gasoline in sustainably maintaining crucial public services, and acts as proof of market for this application.

PA State Forester Seth Cassell from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) provided a compelling endorsement for the environmental benefits of Woodland BIO’s work. He pointed out that developing markets for forest residues is a vital component of sustainable forest management. By creating a viable market for these residues, Woodland BIO could help improve forest health across Pennsylvania. This initiative not only supports the state’s environmental goals but also promotes the sustainable use of natural resources, ensuring that forests remain healthy and productive for future generations.
