Sustainable Gasoline
Woodland BIO’s vision is to create local circular supply chains for carbon-neutral drop-in liquid fuels, also known as Sustainable Vehicle Fuels (SVFs). Our team has developed a biomass-to-fuel process that promises improved efficiency for converting woody biomass into drop-in gasoline using proven refining technology.
What are “Sustainable Vehicle Fuels” (SVF)?
Sustainable Vehicle Fuels (SVF), are a drop-in solution designed to seamlessly integrate with the current transportation infrastructure. These eco-friendly fuels are derived from renewable biomass sources, such as plant materials and agricultural waste, which are abundant and regenerative. Unlike traditional fossil fuels, sustainable vehicle fuels aim to reduce the carbon footprint and mitigate the impact of greenhouse gases.
The beauty of these fuels lies in their compatibility with existing engines and fuel distribution systems. This means that they can be used as direct replacements for gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel without any modifications to vehicles or refueling stations. This compatibility ensures a smooth transition towards greener alternatives for consumers and industries alike.
What is a “Drop-in” Solution?
"Drop-in" is term from the tech industry that refers to the ability to replace one solution with another one without any configuration changes being required, resulting in no negative impacts. In this situation we are calling our solution a “drop-in” solution because our gasoline:
Meets Existing RBOB Gasoline Specification
The gasoline produced through Woodland BIO’s process has a unique zero-sulfur and zero-benzene profile and can be blended with refinery gasoline, sold directly to the wholesale market, or mixed with crude oil for simplified logistics at the wellhead. Woodland BIO’s gasoline meets most specifications globally without the need for additional refining. In the United States, Woodland BIO’s gasoline exceeds the requirements for RBOB grade gasoline and complies with other national grade specifications.
Works With Existing Vehicles
Woodland BIO Gasoline is chemically identical to fossil fuel gasoline, so if customers leave the area serviced by Woodland BIO they can mix and match with fossil fuel gasoline, which means there are absolutely no barriers for customers to switch to Woodland BIO’s sustainable gasoline.
Whether customers are interested in the sustainability of Woodland BIO gasoline, or in seeing a lucrative industry bring well-paying jobs to their local economy, or simply want to save some money at the pump, there are reasons for consumers in all situations to make the easy switch to Woodland BIO Gasoline. These unique value propositions will drive more customers to Woodland BIO’s distribution partner over their competitors.
Works With Existing Infrastructure
Woodland BIO’s direct customers are gasoline retailers, who would buy the gasoline wholesale and distribute it using their existing gas stations. The retailers have three options for how to sell Woodland BIO gasoline:
1. Mix it with their existing supply to make partial green gasoline that can be distributed to all their locations.
2. Set up a separate pump to sell 100% Woodland BIO gasoline at each location.
3. Pick high-priority locations that would serve exclusively renewable gasoline at all pumps.
